Equal parts scene study workshop and production class, the One Act to Cinematic Event (OATCE) provides students from diverse métiers an environment of play. Experimenting with dramatic form, directors, actors, designers, musicians and dancers will craft a series of short plays, culled from Tennessee Williams’ THE MAGIC TOWER, into a multi-media presentation designed to enhance Williams’ text, and the audience’s experience of theatrical performance.
